The stress response in wild animals: an integrative approach

Our research group performs studies on the physiological and behavioural responses to acute and chronic stressors (e.g.: extreme temperatures, dehydration, anthropic environmental change) by combining both observational and experimental data obtained from the field and laboratory. These studies aim at integrating information from different levels of biological organization and further interpreting this data under functional, evolutionary and conservation perspectives.
